Our CTO talks in VR about opportunies for communication and collaboration across the Japanese border
Let's talk about your window to Japan
Japan has a long history of cultural isolation. This has been beneficial to the country, as it has allowed for the development of an impressively unique culture. But it also restricts development in the sense that it is hard for the Japanese - who are monolingual for the most part - to freely access culture and technology outside their borders.
VR is a liberating media as it makes it possible to become anyone or anything, anywhere and at any time. Language is the only big hurdle restricting Japanese from taking part in this growing metaverse.
It is our vision to break down this barrier. We believe this will open boundless opportunities for people and organisations on both sides of the border. We are committed to facilitating communications with Japan for companies, educational institutions, museums, care institutions, and others interested in cross-cultural interactions.
We are now starting to offer talks on this subject, using social VR platforms like Rec room, vTime, Engage, and Facebook Horizon. If you are interested in arranging a lecture or chat with Hans, our CTO, please contact us at any time!
